Never doubt yourself whatever life throws at you.

 

 

Women have a big role to play in society and we should be proud of who we are and how far we have come. Women didn’t get the vote until 1928 and a lot of women died for that to happen. Remembering this we should always make sure we use our vote to fight for what we believe in.  

 

I know there is a lot of discussion and bad feeling in the news at the moment regarding equal rates of pay for men and women.  The idea of equal pay for equal work is comparatively recent.

 

You do have to have some consciousness of your situation and if your situation is not where you want to be, it’s up to you either to accept it or to do something about it. Women are right to be standing up for a fairer community in the workplace. Make sure you never doubt yourself and fight for what is right for you.
